I have had that exact same wrapping paper on my mind to use as wallpaper. You pulled it off so perfectly. (And now I know it won't look as nearly as fabulous in my hallway).
These are the colors I've been trying to work in my new apartment. Love the b&w framed art too. The black & white contrast looks as important here as the neutral elements. Ooooh. Thanks for the ins...
I grew up in Encinitas, now live in L.A. I agree, driving around helps. Try Leucadia around Hermes and Vulcan for cheaper places. Try Orpheus by the beach for the rare but cool & funky beach rental...
Encinitas is my hometown!Gardenology always provides me inspiration (when their items can be awfully pricy). And of course you must visit Grounded around the corner on E Street for more indoor-outd...
This is good news. I try to limit my waste in the home to a couple small grocery bags a week. Knowing at least half of it is food waste is now a relief.
wowza. who knew a little decorating humor could cause such controversy? And no one's even mentioned the genius cereal wall. Now here's a guy who loves what he loves and is prepared for an earthqua...
Overall not my style, maybe it's the color choice - but that is one super cool sink you got in the kitchen and the hanging lights in the bedroom inspires me to toss out my bedside tables.
I could live here in a heartbeat. It's got catalog appeal but doesn't lack personality. I'm especially excited to see little personal touches like the painted "twigs".

john waters & todd oldham fan for life! enter me, please.
I'm digging the use of milk crates in this pic. This could work in my kitchen as cheap shelf alternatives if they were painted and held pretty things.

Ms. Bestor, you're my hero.
Antique wood and super white storage walls is inspirational. Love how they look together, even if no one apparently lives here year round.
Los Angeles, you had me fooled. I was just about to go yellow page this -- what are you doing posting stores in Beijing?!!?
