I am loving the Austin posts as well. The pictured rocker is a find; I've never seen anything like it.

I've been to the Clarksville one on West Lynn, and it's great; the employees are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious, and the food (and coffee) is very, very good.

Looks like Eric is going to have to go visit his Homegirls! I love seeing Austin get some props. I always thought we deserved our own AT city tab... sod off, Dallas!

Oooooh... based on what you've got in situ, I would lacquer it a bright yellow. It would be a great natual/modern counterpoint to your Victorian-y sofa.

This was my favorite pad in the book, and somehow I like it even more in its new incarnation. The experience, for me, is like watching a Kubrick movie... it's (at the same time)awesome, disconcerti...

I have seen these in person, and was struck by them as well - they are great. And the doors, when closed, are flush with the rest of the cabinet... no knobs or anything else are required to fuss it...

I love this - I hope that the wide availability will drive the price down a little.

Don't worry, fair maiden. Someday your prince will call.

This is a wonderfully informative post; I'd like to see more of these in unpluggd. I am so much more a fan of the practical post over the "look at this concept that isn't available to anyone" post....

So smart! This is the type of thing I love to see on Apartment Therapy.

I disagree. The perception is that this is geriatric... and this perception is not shared outside of the US. Soaking tubs generally use less water than traditional American tubs, and hold th...
