Give it a month and see if the gold grows on you first...

my guest room smells like burnt rubber... you know, the smell you sometimes get from an old vacuum cleaner? But there is nothing of the kind in the room... what could be causing the smell?

FYI - I registered for two of the glass chip and dips, and on first (gentle) use, both of the pieces cracked.

I would love a copy, thanks!

Yup, I prefer the two apartments that have more furniture and a lived in feel - Lincoln and Zak is nice, and I really like the art over Megan's sofa.

I was thinking a solid color of m&ms? jelly beans? But I hadn't thought about the pests-aspect... hmmm.

The photography is a little blurry...

I have this really unique granite, that I love. It adds a lot of drama to the room and doesn't show mess... ...

I'm not familiar with that block of DC, and I love the choice of location and home for the house tour. Thanks also for the link to Random Harvest - one of my favorite stores!

I love this bathroom and am keeping this photo for design inspiration. The only downside I see to this design is all that grout by the bathtub - that is a lot to keep clean! Currently...

I agree that you need a larger rug. I like the rug that is there for style, but it seems to small... Can you buy the same rug and line them next to one another? Or, you could buy Flor carpet tile...

We don't have a window in the kitchen, but we just renovated and opened up the kitchen to the living room. The sink is located at that opening, so I can look out the french doors in the living roo...

I would get a colorful rug, and hang more artwork on the wall with the tv to balance out the weight of the sofa on the opposite wall. Hope that helps.
