Yes! I just made this, with extra asparagus, since fiddleheads are rare and expensive on the West Coast, and it is delicious. It's the first risotto I've ever made, and I'm no longer scared!
Of all things, mine was beef jerky! Growing up, my sister and I always got beef jerky during long car vacations. Two years ago, while on my way to Vegas from SF, I just couldn't help myself. The ne...
I made this last night (hoping that the extra line was a typo) - and it was FANTASTIC. I'm completely excited about eating the leftovers for lunch today.
I love fake meat products, because of the convenience. I'm an omnivore myself, like so many others, but it's nice to have these things in the freezer, ready to go when I am. Plus, I never have to w...
I LOVE eggnog. Homemade, store bought, all of it. In fact, I consciously made a point of avoiding it so far this season, because I can drink it so fast. Mmmmmmm.
That's very odd - I stopped by Safeway this week and there was a huge display of asparagus for sale. Something struck me as odd as I walked past it - it wasn't until much later that I realized it w...

I've been making a pasta sauce out of gypsy peppers, and it is divine!
