My husband installed ours with the help of our contractor roommate. The cost of having it installed was just far too much for us... We did however, find a very reasonably priced counter top install...

How about playing up the log cabin look with some antlers, or some other campy decor, and an oil painting a la Bob Ross? These "ugly" things can be bought dirt cheap at thrift stores and garage sales.
