I don't now, and never have, understood why this is necessary????? I hate, hate, hate walking into someone's home and having to see all their junk. Junk that they leave there because they are to...

I can't imagine living with another person. I've lived alone for years. I've always had trouble with relationships, and I think a lot of that had to do with my need to be by myself. I used to fe...

Oops. I meant my post for Mz. F., not Ms. Z. Though, if a Ms. Z exists, I'm sure I'd love to post something to her, too. Sorry, Mz. F!

Ms. Z: These snowglobes sell for $750 . But, worth every penny. Ms. Pea

These are by Walter Martin & Paloma Munoz, amazing artists. Their work can be seen here: http://www.martin-munoz.com/recent/i...

MODERnestS: I couldn't agree more. It's so incredibly boring to be in someone's home and have to look at their family photos. I understand that there are those people that love to ...

I notice lots of people are saying, "I dated" and "I lived with"...all past tense. I don't think messy people and neat people can really, peacefully co-exist. Different world views....

I have the Tivoli, too, and love it. The sound is great. You wouldn't think it to look at it, but it really is. Plus, I like its looks.

Beautiful. Inside and out. I love minimalism. No clutter, that's for me. That pool is outrageous. Wish I was a zillionaire so I could build one like it. *sigh*

Absolutely - call the cops. Once, I had a neighbor in the condo beside mine who played music so loudly that the pictures on my wall bounced from the bass. This happened 2-3 times a week. I start...

Sorry to do this, HMR, what with everyone else on your case, but it's pathological, not pathalogical. To the topic: I have a friend who has gotten absolutely beautiful, clean and comf...

I'm in the "no" camp, as well. It's terribly ugly. No couch would be better than this. And, it's not awfully clever, either. People have been dragging pallets home and making things from them f...

Why do men in Belgium pee in the streets? Don't the bars have bathrooms? I've never been there, so maybe this is a useful thing, but I can't see encouraging men to pee in the street. I can't ima...

This is absurd.

I'm on the street level, but the back of the condo (living room) is all windows with trees, lawn & more trees, then the street. No problem for me without any window coverings there, but I don't li...

When I get too many to handle, I start going through the paperbacks. I can't part with hardbacks. But, I'll take some paperbacks to Goodwill (where I get some of mine) or donate them other places...

Beautiful house. Beautiful stairs. Hate the rug.

I have to agree with Charlotte - the Flor tiles look raggedy and sort of dirty. Maybe it's the photos... Personally, I dislike carpeting of any kind. It's usually filthy. I've ripp...

I've never understood the whole magazines/books in the bathroom thing. Who stays in there that long? Why is that the place to read? Why not do your business and leave? It seems so odd to me tha...

The Loftlife article spells it Merseille, but surely they meant Marseille. The loft is spectacular. What a great place to live. The photos are lovely.
