I don't think of myself as being attached to my stuff, although I'd be said to lose old family photos and papers...I have one box full of them. But I do have a problem with give-aways:

Love them. Just hung grass cloth-like material on a wall in my apt....it was much easier than wallpaper and looks great. It's also a way to get some really high-end material up on a single w...

Great, great colors. But does anyone else slightly cringe at the books arranged by color (see website)? Looks great but makes me queasy.

Very cute apartment. But the rug isn't a great one--if you stain the white part, it won't look great. We raised kids with patterned rugs...like kilims or oriental-type patterns--and found th...

Beautiful chair...beautiful color. Truly an iconic piece. Fingers crossed....

Is anyone else noticing a new format in the slideshow? There seems to have been a design change, and now all the apt. therapy headings go on top, and you can't see a show without constantly readju...

Only thing is...since it's the sides that are your problem, I'd hem an equal amount on both sides. Even if you're tucking the blanket in, it'll give you a more uniform, neat final look.

Boy. I just tried to lay out this piece in my small bedroom, and it pretty much fills the space! Why don't you lay it out, using blue painter's tape, on the floor and the walls (for height)?...

I'd cancel. Not that I hate Martha or anything, but the only issue that I'm the least interesting in is the annual decorating one, and if it looks good, I can buy it. The other issues only make m...

Tulip chair. A pure classic.

It's all about light, isn't it? The colors I see (for instance, in the top sun room--I'm drooling on the keyboard right now) can't be reproduced in different lattitudes (I'm in the Northeast)...

Sigh. I love my cats. But there are issues...like the fact that one just threw up a new-old mid-century piece and ruined the finish in two places (other than refinishing, by the way, anyone have ...

Totally agree with Patrick...specifically, get something simple, big, and ROUND. Even if it's not a jade disk--there are incredibly inexpensive gorgeous large charger-ish things, or even a few big...

You're doing so well! I think all of us hold onto stuff. But I will tell you it's worth it!!! I'm in the habit of regularly recycling stuff and have used Maxwell's trick of the outbox, and it wo...

A nice bright persimmon. Just makes me feel good to look at it.

Hey! Great space...and I could swear our cats our cousins. Question: I checked on CB2, but the chrome lights you have in the kitchen aren't produced anymore. Anyone know of something simil...

I have my mom's Revere--it's lasted over fifty years and still boiling hot and whistling strong! No matter how many new, cute kettles I try, nothing measures up.

Hi, Katie. Great purchases. A placement thought...the couch looks a little cramped where it is. Have you thought about switching it with the TV stand? That wall looks longer...plus that wa...

What's life without pillows? Brown and blue for me, I think.

Desperate for humidity.
