@Chijenna -- Thanks! The piece in the first picture is just some fabric stapled onto some canvas stretchers. The fabric was something like 10$/yard at Mood, and the canvas stretchers maybe cost $10...
Yay, comments! Thanks for all your comments-- positive and constructive.
The chair is from Room and Board. We saved FOREVER to be able to afford it.
The rug is from CB2.
I suppose it's fine, as long as you don't plan to be making any...uh... vigorous movements that might shift the bed. In such cases, a wall can be a helpful anchor.
1.) Get rid of those blinds. Put up spanking white or brightly-colored curtains.
2.) Get at least one more lamp, preferably two.
3.) Brighter pillows and a throw.
I don't understand how people *can* pack more than a day in advance, unless they're traveling to a different climate zone. If I packed earlier than a day in advance, I'd have nothing to wear.
I have found that sheets with any amount of stretch in them inevitably wrap themselves around my neck while I sleep. I'd be afraid these sheets would kill me where I lay.
I guess it must suck to clean up after the dog twice a day, but maybe it would help to consider that people who don't have a yard have to pick up after the dog every time they walk it. My other tho...
I really believe Michael should still be on the show. The room they dissed him for was a perfectly stylish room, even if it didn't fit the judges' conception of Barcelona.

@ Jenicra-- The desk works very well as a sewing station, but only because I do very small projects, like throw pillows, hemming, etc.

Freakin' adorable, and probably good for wood floors. Would make moving chairs quiet and scratch-free.

This kicks SO MUCH ass. This house looks like a fairy tale.

Summer, Josh-- Can we be friends?
Do I really want to see the size of the imprint my butt leaves when I sit? No. No, I don't.
AHHHHH! PET MONTH IS KILLING ME! This cuteness has to stop.
"Absolutely Fabulous". Indeed.
This is why I am a City Girl. I'd rather occasionally see a roach and scream for my husband than walk outside and see a freakin' web of worms anyday.
It is already SO DIFFICULT for me not to buy bedding to match my every mood, and now this! Sigh. So gorgeous.
Modfan, you made my freakin' day. How about, for extra credit, drawing a picture of a hole in the wall that only you can walk through?
