The holes are actually angled slightly upward, alternating from side to side, so that the bottles are pretty well supported. It's only been up for a few days, so my boyfriend and I haven't crashed...
I agree, and that's really not the traditional recipe, which incorporates ginger beer, not ale, and I think a touch of lime. It should be nice and spicy and gingery.
