i agree with above. I have a modern place and love to mix in antiques. Clean it up with Murphy's Oil Soap, maybe get a piece of Marble cut for the top, put a modern lamp on it and a piece of Modern...
I love those high back Windsor Chairs- Anyone know where they came from- I saw them on Studioilse's sight, but I have seen them elsewhere too. No one seems to know where they come from.
i actually like it for steaming veggies. and i too will make a quick egg in mine sometimes, but it's best for warming up left over soup and making hot cereal in the morning.
i saw it and am so glad to say it was really realy good.
i have read the books and it does a wonderful job of staying true to the stories.
