I keep them in a tall sealed glass jar full of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol, and then when fireplace season rolls around, use them as firestarters. They burn for a lot longer than you might...

I instantly like them!

All I can see is books and glasses and DS styluses and goodness knows what else falling down between them. I already lose enough crap behind and under my bed. A new crevice is all I need.

And now, six weeks later, it's not even on the Ikea website. Why is it so hard to buy this couch!

I wish my apartment had ceiling fixtures! I can't remember the last place I lived that did.

Is this the new version of the FÅGELBO? It looks a little more tailored and is really, really tempting.

Mantel mantel mantel.

I LOVE that ottoman. I don't usually love things on AT as much as I wish I did, but that ottoman is wonderful.

This stuff looks ideal for cutting up and framing, something I keep seeing on TV and in magazines and have been wanting to try.

I love the way this looks, but I shudder at the thought of destroying books for it. Using a dictionary or other outdated reference book is one thing; tearing up immortal books like classics or chil...

I came very close to buying my media cabinet (Magiker TV bench, I think it's called) out of the as-is section rather than out of the warehouse. The as-is one was about $40 cheaper and had no visibl...

I vote sconce for sure, for the reasons listed. But since I can't run wires in my walls, I positioned my bed so I can easily reach the light switch on the wall while lying down, and I read by the l...

The Slanket is the best blanket I've ever owned. Huge, warm, soft, and has sleeves. It's great stuff.

That, and your coat or whatever is smushed against the wall. I see wrinkles and dust. Also, my coats are loooong. How could I possibly hang this high enough to be useful?

Less than 4 days I leave my cat alone with the water fountain and plenty of food. More than 4 days, I move him over to my friends' house. 10 days, at Christmas, right now ... I just dr...

I've always wanted a transparent dishwasher. Man, I want that so bad.
