Nice to see a house tour in my Albany Park neighborhood!

I'm a Goya girl. It was rated highly by (I think) Consumer Reports, which I know is not exactly Gourmet Magazine. But it's relatively inexpensive and available at the local grocery store.

My worst disaster was yesterday--the cupcakes I made for my husband's birthday did not turn out right. They were chocolate coconut cupcakes that were highly rated from a usually reliable source.

We have a gas fireplace, but we had the gas disconnected. It looks more like a Bunsen burner and would cost a fortune to upgrade. Also don't think it would make us any warmer.

I was interested to see you put all those electronic devices (tv, fax, etc.) in the shelves next to your fireplace. We also have some shelves next to ours and now I am wondering if I can reconfigur...
