I have one of these red mounted by the front door. I like it...useful. P.S. - Can't really think of anything in a modern cell phone would be seriously bothered by a low level magnet.

I'm looking for such in Atlanta....

That thing is, what, three or four times as roomy as some of y'alls NYC homes...:-)

I can assure you that while reasonably tough, lab glassware is not unbreakable. I have the ouchies to prove it. :-)
