Not a big fan of sofas without backs but I like the look at least. It's worlds more interesting (and unique) than the CB2 daybed so it's good you waited for it.

If you use proper anchors to hold the screws it should hold up alright. I've never had one fall out of drywall or plaster and I have way too many kitchen odds and ends.

I wish I could get away with selling buttercups here, I'd be rich. They do look nice with the dark peonies.
