I think we are headed in this direction soon, too. Our little one, 7 months old, is just running out of space in our living room. I can't imagine what else we will do once she starts walking!

I agree with the other posters that onesies are much too difficult to put on or take off of newborns. We used the side snap/ kimono shirts, like the ones that the hospital dresses baby in at birth...
