I got a few of these to test them out. they're wonderful for my thin rayon jersey shirts that I've been afraid to hang up but they make it such a pain to get shirts on/off that I'll only be using ...

I agree about the beanbag, it needs to go. Definitely go for bolder/brighter curtains. A larger rug would be good, as would a bookshelf/media cabinet. If you keep the couches where t...

I'm moving into my first real post-college apartment, plus getting married in the spring, and I don't really have a table at the moment. I know the style I want (very simple lines, dark wood) whic...

Did you forget to include the survey, or am I missing something?

This reminds me of the nets they sell for the corners of little kids' rooms to hold stuffed animals. Except it's a more grown up version.

Okay, I definitely think that checking out interesting art books and such for guests to look at is a cool idea. Using them as decorations... not so much.

does anyone have experience with how well the Malm dressers from Ikea hold up after a while? I'm considering buying some for when I move out on my own/get married in a few months, but I'd like to ...

one word of caution with the starched fabric... I did that with cut outs of black fabric and while it looked fantastic, it left faint purple stains in the exact silhouettes of the shapes when I to...

I think nate is cuter and I like his designs better. plus ty rubs me the wrong way, I'm just not a fan.

I'd never been to an ikea before one opened up about 30 minutes from me (and about 15 minutes from my parents).

I think it would be cool, but is it really possible to do at all of the ikea's? the one near me doesn't have any full bedrooms set up (well, maybe one), they just have living rooms/kids rooms/othe...

-kellen - that was my first thought, too! I go to Michigan so I feel a little shunned. *sniffle* anyway, I agree that a site owner should be able to block certain commentators. and ...
