I made an apricot/plum crisp yesterday, and while it had a few more ingredients, it's also an easy way to use ripe fruit for a yummy dessert.

Three of my neigbors have the blue cast, which I didn't like, so I got the Malibu lights that are yellow and solar. They make a neat pattern when I come home at night, so I like them and wanted to ...

I got my walnut oil from the Ojai, CA farmer's market and use it on salads. Yum and very fresh!

I have my dream kitchen with a few changes: DCS gas cooktop like the one we put in my mom's kitchen remodel after she lived there for 41 years. I LOVE that appliance. I h...

I gotta say, that took guts doing that at the last minute! Hope you now have some measuring utensils and will now measure when you bake--you've made a great first step! Congratulations!

I got some from a pick your own in Goleta, CA. 5 lbs and I almost ate myself uncomfortable on Monday when I went. Yum!

opps, how'd that happen? I was trying to say that Bon Ami is, I think, calcium carbonate--marble dust, and BKF has Oxalic Acid in it. Baking soda is Bicarbonate.

I thought the same thing with the quake problem.

Love the flax and cordylines. Went to Seaside Gardens in Carpinteria yesterday--check out their website and look on the tour of each garden, particularly the Austrailian one.
