We purchased a sofa similar to the crate and barrel one for our business. It sees a LOT of abuse from employees and visitors but after 2 years has held up exceptionally well - it gets my vote!
They are very graceful and stylish. I would keep them but take some inspirtation from the artwork behind them and paint them white and re-upholster them with an orange fabric.

Um, I'm all for non traditional but this is just sad. Even with lights and ornaments, a drying rack is still an eyesore.
