yes, absolutely mix wood colors... the result is not bad as is. I think a pop of a big red bowl on the table would do wonders. wood is a neutral, mixed neutrals are always fine together.

whats the worse offence, seeing all the cracks from day one, or getting a few light smugdes over the upcoming years?
