If everyone knows each other, or if it's a casual event, I don't see the point. If you have a lot of people who are strangers to each other, or if it's a formal dinner, it makes more s...

What I would do... 1) Switch the locations of the bed and loveseat (or will the bed block the closet?) 2) Move the blue stand and fish tank to either the kitchen or that little...

The most disturbing part is that the face part looks like it's coming through the tile. If the whole thing were chrome or whatever, it would still be disturbing, but not quite as much. Either way...

Deep peacock blue. But really, you could do just about anything with this (but I'd pick a more saturated color to contrast with the lighter-colored furniture). I love that couch.

I love the look but I too would like to know more about how it works, what it's made of, etc. The Savil site didn't explain any of that.

The furnishings don't do much for me but I do like the color scheme and how you used it, so I gave it a thumbs up. "Ripe Pineapple" is a great name for that yellow.

Maybe once, if the color was just glaringly, horribly wrong. That blue looks just fine to me. I'd definitely give it some time before deciding if you want to paint again.

It doesn't ALL appeal to me, but I kind of like how it makes me think of the beach yet doesn't use any of the stereotypically "beachy" design elements (for example, there's no blue). ...

I like the ornaments but I picked up a ton of clearance ornaments at Target after last year's holidays so I don't need more. I also like those small silver candles. The rest- meh. I see stuff li...

I love that sofa.

Gorgeous blue.

Oooh, I want.

Come up with a good, accurate title for the posting. If you're selling a table, specify whether it's a dining table, a coffee table, an end table, etc. Don't call things "antique", ...

My great-aunt had one of those doll toilet-paper-roll cozies. I remember finding it fascinating as a kid. On the topic of gifts, I wish I got more hand-crafted ones (and I'm not tal...

Sounds like you've already made the decision to pass on it, but I agree with most other people that $850 is way too much. I think I'd spend maybe half that at most, and even then, only if I really...

Oh wow, I love this.

I said "messy" above, but in all seriousness, I sometimes refer to it as "Rancho Relaxo" in my head, because of the name of the street I live on. But I've never called it that out loud because I d...

"messy" (but only right now, hopefully that will change soon)

Agreed that it can be a tiebreaker if I'm wavering between two similar shades, but it isn't the primary consideration. Also agreed that a good name won't necessarily make me choose a c...
