Those curtains suggested by the first commenter are perfect. They're *almost Marimekko w/out the price tag. And then you could bring out any colors (and go darker or brighter as much as you want) w...
I second books. I always give our son at least one book for his birthday/christmas.
For his first birthday, I did want a good wooden toy, so we got him the IKEA train set. He's a bit ...
This is a great room - it doesn't need much.
I would bring in some crisp bedding and then some white almost sheer curtains to make full advantage of that window (like IKEA VIVAN). May...
Those are awesome. As for making it stick to the tree, you could use little nails to "frame" it. Don't go through the door, put catch the edge on one side and then catch the edge on the other.
I much prefer my place to someone else's. A lot of people I know are packrats or are busier or whatever. They're good friends, but it stresses me out. I just ignore the mess and relax in my bedroom...
That statement is harsh and inappropriate.
I shop at IKEA because it's what I can afford. Does that makes me selfish and demanding? I don't think so. I think it means I'm living withi...
I have been looking for the perfect one ever since I saw that first photograph. Most of them are 7 feet plus or very "country carving" looking.
I think you could take any simple furni...
I found these a couple of months ago and LOVED them. Even better, I had a 40% coupon (which you can get frequently) from Michael's, so they were super cheap. I bought two sets - one to give, and on...
We have several really good IKEA purchases in our home - rugs, chairs, shelving and really only one bad one: a lamp. Our budget is very minimal and honestly, I get tired of "this isn't good enough ...
Clothes, shoes, coats, etc. are the first things to be put away when I know people are coming over.
I'm HORRIBLE about putting those things away when I'm done with them and tend to ju...
People tell me "it looks great - I could never do this." I tell them it's just figuring out what they like and obsessing over it. Then they say "oh, but I still can't do it."
It's not...
I keep two of those cheapie plastic shoes drawers in the floor of our one storage closet. In one drawer are tools. In the other are things like packing tape, twine, etc. They stack just great and I...

Sounds good to me. I would take my son there (when he's potty trained) to enjoy a bit of a book or some small talk with my husband.

Ignore it or close it in. Why would someone build something like that?!

Club whole wheat crackers are cheap and taste amazing. So many people I've shared them with are surprised when I tell them they're Keebler.
I have the elephant and love it! They sold out quickly when they first came out.
Ooh, a chalk board toychest. Now that's cool.
