I am so with the commenter who said Dr. Pepper. I know it has false sweeteners in it, I know, I know. But it's the one thing I CRAVE. I can go a few days at a time, but wow, when I have one afterwa...
So far, we've only had one cold and one virus, but the virus was from the church's nursery. Simply: we stay home and my son doesn't go to day care. I think those two make a HUGE difference.
I very much prefer the styling of the second picture, but I agree with Lisa - just because it's not what you would pick doesn't make the other drab or boring. Look at that lamp in the distance. It ...
I have two reversible fabric ones from Etsy and I like them. Some of the tissue covers that you see in stores are heavy and awkward to move around (like I want to if I'm sick). I like the ones I ha...
Great question! When I pregnant with our son, I tutored homeschooled students whose parents wanted an outside teacher in English. They set up a co-op and I was hired for that. The classroom time wa...
Forgot to say I was given a clear glass one (one of those that turns into a punch bowl) for a wedding present and I just use the cover from that one for my others. And I store them on the fridge.
I just bought a beautiful red one at Target - it was in their holiday dishes section. It looks vintage, but the price was great. Also, I've found a white one in their Thanksgiving dishes.
I like these suggestions. I'm an introvert in many ways (especially in new situations), and I think quiet people can be so misjudged. A lot of the time they're feeling so awkward, they're just stay...
I don't know why this table has so many complaints. I bought a white one this year and I love it. It's a good desk (when the end in tucked down) or a good table. I used it as a workspace before and...
I'd like to read AT without hearing political vitriol if that's not too much bother. It would be even better if there weren't political statements in the first place. Can we get back to design, ple...
This is a great idea! I love that it can lead to stories told to your children, which is a tradition that has led to some of the greatest children's books (Raggedy Ann, Thomas the Train, etc.)
I love having a landing strip. We don't have room for any furiture, so it's all on the wall (a piece of artwork, a shelf, and some hooks), but it works wonders. I don't think it's messy at all, but...
Wow, Gregory, I've always wondered that. My MIL always says "You're such a booby," meaning you're a wimp or you're being stupid. It always makes me flinch.

There's more shelves like this at CB2. Also, check out "rain gutter" bookshelves (seriously - there's posts on Ohdeedoh about them)

I would donate them to another breastfeeding mom. If you don't know one, try freecycle. They're usually very grateful!
the link for the box spring is going to something about artwork.
I LOVE this room. The walls are perfect. I'm definitely keeping this in mind for my son's bedroom. WINNER!

Ah, someone else who loves the ITSO with the expedit - they're awesome!

The First 1000 Days is a great book, but I still was behind. I do most of that kind of thing electronically.

Yeah, I never actually thought they would make my son smarter. But he loves them! Isn't that enough?
