I'd like to read AT without hearing political vitriol if that's not too much bother. It would be even better if there weren't political statements in the first place. Can we get back to design, ple...
This is a great idea! I love that it can lead to stories told to your children, which is a tradition that has led to some of the greatest children's books (Raggedy Ann, Thomas the Train, etc.)
I love having a landing strip. We don't have room for any furiture, so it's all on the wall (a piece of artwork, a shelf, and some hooks), but it works wonders. I don't think it's messy at all, but...
Wow, Gregory, I've always wondered that. My MIL always says "You're such a booby," meaning you're a wimp or you're being stupid. It always makes me flinch.
I bought one of those single pair shoe organizers and put it in our entry closet. The bottom departments hold flip-flops and the top ones hold mittens, gloves, and scarves. I love that it's seasona...
I do this all the time since I have a large family and a small budget. We've done the following:
- a favorite family game (Snorta, Sequence, Apples to Apples, Settlers of Catan, Uno...there ...
This is a good idea in theory, I think. However, my metal colander (which looks a lot like those above) rusted out pretty quickly. I would think exposure to even more water would make that worse.
Neutrogena stuff is the best! I've had skin problems for years, and this is the only stuff I've found that works. And yes, it lasts a long time. Totally worth the money.
I like the advice with going with what color jumps out at you. That being said, I think the rich blues and purples would do you a lot.
Also, depending, I really like the wall paper idea.
I wouldn't worry about it if you can cook in them fine. I had to replace my cooking sheets recently as THE WHOLE THING has a very dark patina that was burning things everytime I used them. It was h...
For us: hummus, cucumbers, grape tomatoes, decent salsa (I'm from Texas and it's made me very picky), condiments, sandwich supplies, some marinating in my homemade rub.
I'm doing the cure after a move-in, so things were clean. BUT, we did do a lot of sorting out, giving away, and organizing. The result is (mostly) a bare bones kitchen that I feel comfortable in ri...

Ah, someone else who loves the ITSO with the expedit - they're awesome!

The First 1000 Days is a great book, but I still was behind. I do most of that kind of thing electronically.

Yeah, I never actually thought they would make my son smarter. But he loves them! Isn't that enough?

I really wasn't impressed. A lot of the kids in the theater were bored and asking to go home, so I wasn't alone. It seemed too grown up and dark.
Target has small LED nightlights that are a pig, bird, mushroom, and ?? that are under 20. They're very cute and moveable with a chargeable base.

I found a lid that doesn't fit any of our pots. I have no idea why it was in our stuff. I just wish I could trade it for the pot I am missing!

I would NEVER consider a sectional for that very reason. We've moved around a lot and we have to have smaller furniture. It's just so limiting.
