This article makes me believe that perhaps they're a bit shorthanded on writers! So I'll throw my hat into the ring. Contact me at infinitenever (at) gmail.com and we can discuss the best way I can...
Modernguy, show me a $20 million super lotto that has a $1 per ticket price point and also has odds of 1 in 37,000...and I'll buy as many dollar tickets as they can print.
I sold a cloth Klippan sofa on Craigs for $325. What worked for me was lots of extras (I threw in two sets of pillows and the black cover), staged photos (not a pic of the couch on the lawn, but in...
I actually like this. The picture window needs some sort of covering, but once that happens and some appropriate furniture is added.
As far as honoring the original style of the home.....
I like the remodel! In response to those who are saying it's too busy, though, I have to agree. But it's no fault of your own- this is WAY too small a kitchen for someone who appears to like to spe...
Does this work for people with REALLY long hair? Mine's almost down to my butt, has been dyed, and is frizzy. Also, it flakes. Not sure if no-poo will make it look better, or just exacerbate the pr...
Tribune Lofts downtown has hardwoods and polished cement floors. Also, a lot of them have whole walls comprised of windows, which considering the view is a huge selling point.
Not sur...
You don't happen to be in Tulsa, do you? I had the same problem when I moved out here, but there are places around. If it's applicable, I can suggest a few places I know for a fact offer hardwoods.
A couple of your pictures are a bit crooked. That's the only constructive criticism I can offer. You've succeeded in making the ubiquitous white IKEA shelf look good, and that's no small feat.
I don't find the bed or the water bottles sexy, either. I think the bedroom needs more dark colors to anchor it. And the water bottle problem could be easily solved. All of my cabinets are doorless...
This could be a contender in the Small Cool contest, but not the Fall Colors. There isn't any real mastery of color shown here. You have nice taste in furniture and a good sense of proportion, but ...
You say you use bright orange, tangerine, grey, slate, metallic siler and metallic burnt orange, but I see beige, beige, beige. If you own your home, why don't you take some risks? Cut back on the ...

Wow, almost NO storage space in either the kitchen or bathroom. I like the way it looks, but am afraid it'd be completely unrealistic.

There are children in Japan having seizures because of these photos. Thanks a lot, Jonathan Adler.

Definitely. More one room on a budget posts- not all of us can realistically afford what we see in the palatial, 3,000 sq ft NYC lofts.

If this isn't evidence that we need an AT site devoted to the South, I don't know what is. Congrats, Jesse!
Where did the sofa in the first photo come from? It's AMAZING.
Not outstanding. Refrigerator too cluttered, patio sort of disjointed. Need more unifying elements.
Good job, but what does the rest of the house look like?
