I cannot presume to speak for others, but I think my own negative reaction to this renovation/addition has more to do with it's lack of integration of the old and new rather than either a distaste ...

Since when are maturity and vivacity opposites?

It's completely understandable that the Gold-Williamses would feature their own merchandise in their book, but it must be noted that for most people their price point falls more on the side of 'inv...

This looks like a project better done on a stretched canvas or sheet of foamcore rather than directly on the wall. That way you could incorporate the additional colour or texture of a fabric backin...

No silly citrus juicers on the countertops? Missed cross-promotion opportunity, Philippe!

Good starting point, but when working with such cheap materials why so stingy? I'd layer and stack the sticks irregularly in the sunburst pattern for more wow power.

You said it, mlleErica! Enough people are doing this badly already; don't encourage more.

Most of the pics above show interesting decorative treatments for branches, but there is nothing sadder than a dead twig stuck in a plain jane glass jar attempting to pass for decor (looking at you...

Totally cool... if you like dusting.

I've tried many of these 'natural' remedies and they work to varying degrees, but the problem with ants is that there are so damned many that even if some are deterred there are still many more tha...
