You use your washer and dryer as countertops. In my case, raise the cabinets several inches to install a countertop to go across the w/d! And then have to buy a step stool to reach the counter :(
Two of the walls in my bedroom have windows, and the other two are too awkward for placing the bed. Instead of a headboard, we put the bed under one of the windows and use the curtains as our headb...
My husband didn't seem too thrilled (ok, he wasn't at ALL) with me wanting these delicious 100% glass mirrored side tables for the bedroom. They were $90 each, and he saw some that were dark wood, ...
I love the after shots! I actually just used these same lamps on mirrored nightstands in my own bedroom.
To AmyinPittsburg, I looked at the dresser and the very first thought that hit...
I just love this! We've been looking for a stylish pull down faucet to replace our (25 year old) faucet! I've been saving for a kitchen reno since February 2008, maybe this will help me kick start ...

I used Martha Stewart Vintage Map from Lowes. It's bright in the daytime, deeper at night, and changes from a blue blue to a gray blue to a green blue depending on the time of day and the weather. ...
Emeco Navy chairs! Or knockoffs if you're cheap like me. I just picked up a fabulous table from the thrift store that's long like yours with curvy legs and a very traditional curvy cut top. I put t...
I wouldn't paint the cabinets, but I also wouldn't keep them the same. I would stain them a dark cherry wood color, which will help the burgundy look less out of place. Frame the mirror with a chun...
I went to Home Depot to check out the sample of your paint. I think I'm convinced to use it as my navy blue walls. I've had 10 different swatches of dark blue to decide between, but none of them wo...
Go freaking figure I decide to paint my walls navy blue but keep my random hot pink ikea office chair in there... and now a similar look is featured on here! So I obviously like the look ;) but min...

The 7th is the color scheme I'm going for in my craft room. Glad to see another example!
DEEP DARK PURPLE! I absolutely love a rich dark purple with light stone.
