It's not too wasteful...less so than a real or fake tree. And if you were really worried about it, you could always reuse the post-its.

I wouldn't get the walmart one. I don't have these shelves, but every piece of furniture I bought from Walmart has ended in disaster. Flimsy, cheap, terrible stuff.

I have seen similar storage cubes at target for less, and I think that they are actually designed to be stacked. I like this idea. Even if it wasn't used at a divider it would be brill...
