The number one thing most people can do to spruce up their bathroom is HIDE YOUR JUNK. Seriously. Keep your soaps, lotions, shaving creams, brushes, pills, and all of that *inside of something else...

Love this!

And... I'd like to add that keeping tidy is a habit developed over a lifetime. I still have to remind myself to put things away; it isn't automatic for a lot of items. What makes it somewhat easier...

I'll dust if guests are coming over. I almost always put things away when I'm done with them (and have taught my spouse to do the same), so we don't have any clutter. Our problem areas are sometime...

Another vote for cloth wipes here. You can save a fair amount of cash by using them and they clean WAY BETTER than disposable wipes. We have homemade flannel wipes that I made out of some sheets an...

I have hardwoods and ceramic tile throughout my house. If I asked guests to remove their shoes in the wintertime their feet would actually become quite chilly from walking around on cold, hard floo...

I'm surprised the Arm's Reach Beautiful Dreamer Cocoon Sleeper didn't make this list. We're going to try one of these with our newborn:

I can't find this on the PB web site any more... darn it

Here's another pic of the finished beaded crib. I love it! http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2248/1771125334_93...

Marpac white noise generator. Works for baby or for yourself :)

I didn't know black dogs were hard to place, but I find it interesting. When I adopted one of my dogs from the shelter, I almost overlooked her because (at first glance) she was too ordinary lookin...

We took the smaller IKEA Expedit, laid it on its side, and screwed a changing pad into the wall. We have storage bins underneath for diapers and wipes, which works well. When our son is a toddler i...
