I saw some very hot draperies once made of burlap lined with brilliant colored raw silk and tied back to show the silk lining. The burlap is affordable but the silk is high. Guess they average out....

I'd buy thrift store/garage sale one at a time and mix them. If you keep the same weight or tone they should be cool.
