I must be missing out on something... I don't understand the need for a desk at all unless you work from home. Is there some personal business everybody does there that I am supposed to know about...
I think the wood is lovely and all the red and the colors of the furniture/pillows/rugs is the problem and that a cooler color scheme there is the better option.
These all have a similar kind of feel. I guess it's just taken for granted that we're all supposed want the same style dining room...? Any less modern looking options?
