i've been amazed at how long my basil from the market lasts in a vase of water. it's even sprouted some roots, but is perfectly leafy, green, and usable above water.

very handy, especially when there is no lighting in the closet. may be sloppy, but it's exactly how my closet looks on a day-to-day basis!

regarding the whole foods container ... i thought that no. 1/3/5 plastics weren't to be reused? especially when heat is involved. not so?
