I'm only saying this because I am having a bad day of copy editing: It’s "A Color-Based Collection." Compound adjectives are hyphenated in this instance. I know that karma is goi...

If my house weren't already in danger of being too dark, I would totally paint one (or all 4) of my fireplaces black. I especially like the matte finish. It's only paint, right?!

I even like the restrooms at Hogwarts! Rows of tall, porcelain urinals, towering windows and triple sinks. Very retro-modern.

We'll be hosting a "themed" dinner party for the premiere. Pate on crackers, drinks served in mason jars, and corn on the cob - served sofa side.

There are plenty of things that annoy me. But as for "biggest pet peeve," I have to say that leaving the toilet lid (not just the seat) UP annoys me. Men or women. One even sees toilet...

I love the idea of mis-matched chairs in the same stain as the table. Another thought - though perhaps TOO much of a contrast - is the Philip Stark Ghost Chair.

It would go in my study, in front of the glass and chrome table and my Room&Board Jasper sofa. It would be the perfect spot to stand, kneel or lay while choosing a book from the adjacent book case.

They can totally mesh. I would add chairs in light green and other eclectic items to the mix. Think movies from 1960.

The perfect color: Pratt and Lambert "Solitary." It's a very cool grey with tones of green in certain light. Masculine without being heavy.
