We have the IKEA Spoka, and I think it lights the room up way too much.

Oh, how I loathe party games for adults...

My son is turning one in two weeks, and what I think I'd appreciate most from my party guests is a phone call to find out what he'd like and/or need. If that's not an option for you, I...

Leepert - my tripp trapp's strap can be removed by loosening a screw underneath the strap.

I like the idea of the tray, but not enough to spend $90 on it.

My family has done IKEA dates for almost 30 years. I used to be the (extremely excited) kid who was dropped off at the ball pit.

I like the plantoys food a lot, too.

This is so awesome!

I'm drooling over this... is there a cheaper version somewhere out there? PLEASE?!! :)

'Baby traveling device' as in stroller? Get a baby carrier! My favorite is the Mobywrap, and the Ergo for older babies.

Read "Parenting, Inc." by Pamela Paul. If you don't have time for a whole book, read the chapter on toys. You won't need to buy anything after that. :)

I used the duck tub from the very beginning, which worked well for us. Now, the little man is 8 months old and usually sits in the big tub (with a non-slip mat) with an inch or so of water while I ...

Durrr, okay. Shoulda been more specific. "JUST" in the sink.

Whatever happened to bathing kids in the sink? The words "must-have" give me hives. (I have to admit that that tub is pretty cool-looking, though.)

totheworld - How about your kitchen sink or a bath bucket?

Trader Joe's had amazinly large and sturdy canvas bags for a while. I also crocheted myself a reusable bag using a free pattern from the lions brand website. It's big and streeeeeeetchy. :)

I'm doing the same thing... it's crazy and fun and totally worth it!

Gasp! Those are completely adorable... Mama needs Jefferson!

Now I am really bummed that it will not ever get cold enough to do this in Los Angeles. My freezer is just not big enough!
