I saw them used in hotels in France and Switzerland, but can't seem to find one that is available (and affordable) in the US....
There are plenty of great place to live in SF. If you are already thinking these things creep you out, imagine at night, or on a (famously) foggy day. I'd move on to another place. BTW, as a kid...
