foodiegreenie: They must be an older set, found them on ebay. I agree, having a nice mix of designs is hard to find. I wish companies offered variety more often!

Have not tried it, but have heard of it before too (saw it in a movie and went "Whuh?"). I might try it if I visited somewhere where it was the norm, but for me, I make my pies on the tarter side,...

I got to see him in Chicago on his last tour, fantastic man! Missmay: yes, queue is a grocery term that hasn't gotten over here, it's line or lane at best ;)

Granny Smith Green - I love it! It's such a bright cheerful color, you just want to spend hours there. The kitchen and dining room are connected, and it's all the same color. Then the hall and l...

Thank you! Perfect timing, as I am planning my wedding and doing cupcakes. These will look much more elegant.

I've happily used my Misto for years with no issues, but this looks like a nice pretty addition.

My husband's cat used to rummage in the garbage to pull out corn cobs! Worse than a dog, they'd have to hide the bag to keep him from shredding it. He knew it was in there!

I like it. I think it has a bit of a country flavor, with the apron front sink, and slightly chicken wire looking wallpaper.

That does sound tasty! I've not had it myself, but both these articles sound like what you describe - dried corn that can be noshed on as is.

I actually thought Sims gadget come to life!

I've never used a pitter, harder to get good fresh cherries where I'm at. I do like Oregon brand canned cherries. These are in water, NOT pre-made filling, and I make my own syrup o...

Very cool! I'd get one. And the chimes themselves might be beyond most DIYers. Though pending contracts for sales might keep them from sharing their secrets too.

My biggest decision factor is sodium. The levels in canned are way too high for anyone on a restricted diet. I go fresh when possible, frozen otherwise.

Oh, and Hiller's (also in michigan) stocks Calder milk in the glass jars with a deposit. Just return on your next shopping trip. I've seen this in at least one Meijer's in Illinois ...

I'm lucky enough to live where there IS a milk delivery! Calder farms in Michigan is bringing this tradition back. http://www....

That is fantastic! I would definitely buy one.

No way I could switch to a hankie, I have sneezing attacks that last 30 minutes, and especially in public I'd run out of "folds" pretty fast. I am upset to hear of the lack of recycling, I do pre...

My husband had a good counter too: How much research was put into the chemicals in some of those liquids and their reaction with these plastics? There's a reason we have different g...
