wow, i've never thought of making this at home. this recipe doesn't seem too complicated, though. and i agree with Sara in America about the saffron ice cream. Persian food is the best!

I use my ladle a lot too. The thing I don't really use is the whisk that looks like the 4th one from the right, unlike dearly.

i like to use a normal sponge and the spray nozzle. it seems to get in those little holes. it's not perfect, but it's the best method i've found.
why not just use a microplane grater for garlic?
i live next door to a coffee roaster too! the smell isn't that bad. it's pretty faint, and kind of pleasant actually.
