The store in downtown SF just closed, I think prices dropped weekly from 20% to 50% off everything. They never recovered from the ionic breeze debacle and lack of innovation.
$50 to redecorate? C'mon, it's all about priorities. Most people spend more on cell phones and coffee. If you can't even afford to paint the room, it's pretty hopeless.
I like what you've done so far, but I would definitely replace those chairs. They look way too formal for lounging. If you like the armless look, consider the Duncan chairs at room and board.

The Maly Bed and a closet system from Poliform...swoon.
I feel llike I should tie a ribbon around it and stick a big bow on it.
What is it with architects and ugly eyewear?

DWR-bashing is getting so old. I hope they open/convert a studio store in SF soon. I like the new concept.
Reminds me to go for dim sum soon!
Love home books based on "real" people, not just designers.
All are beautiful, but hope the non-professionals win too.
The bedroom is a standout, simply gorgeous.
Now that's a closet/bedroom that I could sleep in.
Why would you put the TV so close to the stove? It just bothers me.
Urban and sophisticated. I'd love to see more, a definite semi-finalist.
I'm a big fan of the componibili system. It would make a nice contrast to your bed and comes in several colors. http://www.componibili.co.uk/
The definition of small and cool. The best so far!
The bed nook feels a little too squeezed-in for my taste, but I admire your creativity.
You've really made the space warm and less industrial. And I'll echo the love for the dining/library space. Well done!
It looks really cozy and warm. A nice place to come home to after a foggy, cold SF day.
