I have way too many books and a pretty small apartment, so I use this hallway space for an extra little bookshelf. I might get a taller one and just cover up the whole wall!
I commute about 40 minutes door to door (one-way) on the subway, and I LOVE it. It is the best time to read a book and not be distracted by cellphones, email, etc...
Yeah I like the pendant too, another Ikea item (my kitchen is definitely the most Ikea-dominated room of my apartment :) Don't really know how that happened!
