Hello, New York! What did you all get done this weekend? I know it's the wrong Cure week, but I got lots done in "office" (not exactly an office, since I live in a studio apartment). Saturday morni...
Hi, Maxwell,
Regarding the local threads: I'm not sure where I'm suppose to add comments - here or on the mail Cure post of the day. Both are fine with me, but their roles don't seem to be ...
Today was a really productive day for me! I'm not following the Cure in the right order, but I'm going through my list in the order in which I'm inspired. I think it's working for me because our ap...
Wow, I'm impressed by cleaning the refrigerator coils. I know that one is supposed to do it often (annually?), but since I rent, I never have... Cleaning the toaster is a good reminder. Otherwise,...
I *love* the Cure! Thanks to the Cure, my 400 square foot apartment that I share with my husband is actually in pretty good shape. But it can always be improved. I get dust allergies, so I think...
Amen, sfdoddsy! By clearing items that you no longer need and love, you create physical and *mental* space.
A small suggestion, make sure that you don't have stuff stacked on top of...
Yea Seattle! Since the Central branch was re-built, circulation has doubled. All of the new branches - because their good architecture makes them so inviting and accessible - have had increases i...
When I was in college, I always made the bed and hung the posters. Then it felt lived-in and mine.
Last year my husband and I moved to our apartment, and we had no furniture. All o...
My husband and I live together in a rented 400 sq ft apartment. Choosing a smaller space in New York allowed us to be in a doorman building with laundry in the basement, close to the Express subway...
Everyone's so inspiring! This weekend I finally got a new lampshade; I had tried to repair the old one about three times, and it still broke, so I'm happy to have a new one. I also got the cleaning...
Sam Maloof is amazing!!!! Thank you for highlighting his work. Being around his home/studio - or even one of his pieces of furniture - is an incredible opportunity. The beauty is extreme.

Great post! It is ideas like this that originally attracted me to Apartment Therapy.
JenDavid99, I'm impressed. Way to Cure!
JenDavid99, I love your desk! Where do you keep all of your files and other desk-related stuff?!
