my next door neighbor had one of these, in full sun, and he didn't get a SINGLE tomato off of it...while i have three thriving tomato plants in an earthbox (and this year, in an old kettle grill fi...
for those looking for the most energy-efficient fan out there, the best-rated one i've found is the hampton windward...and it's not very expensive at all. the blades were developed by aeronautics p...
coffeebuzz76 asked:
"I wonder how much energy they used compared to electric or gas range?"
they use far more. But you only use the microwave for very short bursts, compared to u...
i saw this picture and thought "what's my dog doing in your house?"
our Banjo is a doggelganger for yours. even down to the nose stripe. and she lies like that on furniture, too.
which liebherr is it and where did you get it? i'm having a hell of a time finding this one in the NYC area (plus i want it in black, which i'm thinking might be impossible). sigh.
i grew up in a passive solar house where we had minimal windows on the north side, and when you're in the house you never noticed b/c of so much light coming from one side of the house (open plan) ...
dog hair dog hair dog hair dog hair dog hair.....our miss banjo is in her first (?) shedding season, spewing tiny black hairs off her little pitbull self. This could help, as we don't have a vacuum!
they've gotten meh reviews, but Lovesac makes something similar. it's a chain, there's a number of stores around. I like them but i don't like their upholstery options.
egg salad for sure...maybe vegetables to put in an omelet or frittata, and definitely chopped salad (everything salads) from my CSA, once it gets started!
fruit to put on ice cream, too.
I would get some brackets like these from ikea, route a notch down the center to hold the cord (or just staple it onto the top, if it's hung high enough). nice thing about these, you can paint them...

actually, if you find a good upholsterer in charlottesville, please post in the comments! i need one!
that's beautiful leather.
i think it's sweet. i wonder if you could do it with fabric markers. I also think it would look terrible in my small apt. for some reason.
you could easily rewire with black cord if you're taking it apart to put new chain on.

nice party, but why did the centerpieces need to be soaking in water? without flowers, the apples/cranberries would be fine on their own!
i had a sheepskin flokati and my dog just decided to eat it (and spit it out in little chunks). so that's not a great solution if your dog's a chewer.
i love them all! i want all of these. altho i think the gummy light would have a hard time finding a home in my apt.
not sure which, like 'em all. wonder how the embroidery holds up on washing.
these look exactly like the brackets they used to sell at ikea...i still have a couple lying around.
these are hideous AND make the fan less energy efficient.
