tshirt and pj pants in the winter, in the summer shirt and shorts

would love to see the befores on this. photo 3 is very cool, not sure if it is an optional guest bed that can be opened up, but what a great idea

lighter/brighter rug, more/brigher lamps and light colored quilt/bedspread and shams

agree with many of the comments: winerack/barware always look nice and free up storage elsewhere. Books are fine too, as long as they look nice. agree also that you can get vases/bus...

agree with curtaining the area off more and hiding the iron/ironing board somewhere, anywhere else (under the bed even)--sometimes we store things out of habit in the same place even when we move t...

no clear acrylic piano??? COME ON!

I inadvertantly peed on an antique decoy duck of my mom's, so she gave it to me as a christmas gift (cleaned). it's now above my toilet, I had the shelf specially installed so it would fit.

The Ikea rods are the best deal around. check bbb sale bins, I've gotten some nice panel sets for 75% off, also sale section of target as well as Ross, TJMaxx and Homegoods

no, the best stuff is in my parents' basement!

I'm always proud when pizza or thai delivery guys rave over our high ceilings, light/view of our interior compared to the relatively depressing exterior.

agree with those who suggest living with it a while and trying to embrace the view. I look over a commercial area (past a greenbelt) and like it, esp. at night.

#1 and #5 are fantastic

yeah I can't imagine how impressed the guest must have felt to be shown such an adorable tribute.

great tour but I would have loved to see some shots of the lobby/exterior to see what inspired everything. just the right amount of furniture (and the right size) for the space though....

The original faucet in my 1949 vintage home was just like that one, and it was fine. I'm not sure why everyone needs a pullout faucet in every kitchen now.
