not for me... yet.
does anyone think we're pushing it with TV? HD sets still are exceptionally expensive, and i'm not sure people are ready to buy another tv in the next 4-6 years.
if you're a convert and purchase your mac from an apple store, a floor specialist should be able to transfer your files if you bring your old pc with you.
@Paladin, if you remember that Apple didn't have the rights for the iPhone name either, and had to settle with Cisco to share the name.
the above two comments echo what i've heard fro...
a wireless Wacom tablet app would be pretty cool - much like Balmuda's NumberKey app for the iPhone. of course you wouldn't be able to use a stylus on it, it would probably take some getting used to.
i think this has great potential.
what i don't understand in some of these comments is that most of you are describing the drawbacks as not having accessories or hardware like a netbo...
i doubt these are real, but based on the rumors and even the Slate PCs that debuted at CES, i can't imagine the Apple Tablet looking anything less like this.
my resolutions (or habits) that i want to start this year are more of simplifying then doing more:
1. stop spending so much time on facebook, tutorial sites, creative inspiration sites...
it'll be interesting to see what happens with a tablet device. in 2001, bill gates assumed that tablet PCs will be everywhere in 5 years. instead they died quickly, and refluxed into the netbook.
unplggd's getting popular enough for comment spam! alright!
sounds like we could avoid the amount of input anxiety by using a USB mouse and keyboard with the PS3.
interesting concept - i'll check it out at the apple store.
i'm hoping they get it right this time. i've been using the mighty mouse for 3 years and have gotten used to its flaws.
^^ yeah, basically it's healthy to keep the battery / power cycle exercised. so if you get up to walk around the house or go to starbucks then just take the notebook with you.

i love the green concept of these, but would like more cross platform functionality.
i have a similar collection, short the uni-body. the Titanium PowerBook G4 is hands down THE BEST FORM FACTOR notebook i have ever used.
great idea. maybe a makeshift stand to read directions too!
