Personally, I'm finding this to be a great post. I'm planning to move out to Portland for up to six months later this year or early next year. Mainly to take some time off work to snowboard and hop...
Tough, the Nelson is more iconic to me, the way the light filters through it is great. With that said, the Knoll is way more comfortable.
As for the best? Going with the Nelson on this...
You mean Warren Platner? And will I be ostracized if I said I never saw his cocktail table before? Or if I did, it never really registered.
Been a big fan of Noguchi's table though...
Cool! You know what I'd do with this? Paint an outline of the rest of the clock's body on the wall! I've been wanting to put a large clock on a wall between two windows, but didn't want to go with ...
Hey guys, in case anyone is looking for the Dyson Handheld, just saw the following on Bensbargains.net:

I have the artemis (clear version). Catches a LOT of dust... but probably because it's clear which makes it more noticeable. I don't know if the wall control is poorly produced or if I did a bad jo...
I've had my bedroom set (bisect) for about two years now, ordered it over the web and was very happy with it when I received it. Still very happy with the quality and feel of the product.
Awesome! Reminds me of a chair I saw in an advertisement in the current issue of Metropolis. Burgundy colored classic looking chair with sheetmetal riveted to MDF rather than cushions or fabric.
Read the reviews, very positive. Still on the fence, I guess I'll revisit this when I'm actually going to purchase a vacuum. Either way, Hoover wins since my choices are between the Mach 5 and this...
Yeaaaah... what about the lead?
Back in my first year in Architecture school, I collected all the old circuit boards from the Computer Science building and screwed all the mobos into t...
