i understand making do during hard times, but that just makes me feel sad for whoever had to do it.
"soften" modern? what's the point? that's like taking the floral out of laura ashley. the whole point of modern is not being decorated.

i just love that first photo! our own thanksgiving tends to look like that...but with fewer people...only 18 this year.
