peggy, unfortunately your Sears experience is very typical. It's no longer a brand name -- it's a warning label.

It looks cool, but in practice I'm thinking lots of sprained and broken ankles would be in the owner's future.

That's adorable. It would probably last all of five minutes when matched up against San Francisco's army of roving addict zombie thieves, but it would certainly be adorable for those five minutes.

This would look better if it was anything else, using different material and a different physical design.

How do sites like Consumerist handle the problem? Well, from being a regular reader there, I can report the following observations: They name the companies threatening legal action.

I really want to like it. I like the shape of it, the suggestion of a beanbag without the, erm, beans. But the holes and the color chosen make it simply revolting.
