I love our Bombay & Co. daybed in our living room. Problem is because it's higher than a traditional couch, when company comes over they're reluctant to lounge on it like we do.

I have a part-time job in the afternoon; my husband's company has him on a 'working layoff' where he works every two weeks and collects unemployment on the weeks off. We see each other much more th...

Any of the witty quotes from Mae West - For the bedroom: "The best way to hold a man is in your arms", or "Sex is emotion in motion." For everywhere else: "You only live once. B...

ZGallerie has a close imitation at $899: http://www.zgallerie.com/pc-4974-59-cuddler-chair.aspx

IKEA Norden gateleg table. It changes easily from 2-6 and has storage drawers in the middle that store quite a bit. I currently use 6 ottomans that work as my coffee table by day and seating at the...

I would love to spend the night in room #1. But probably not day to day. No on the others.

It's sad that the only clock I like from this post is on canvas.

designrightnow, That's ALL I could think about! Who would do that? Hopefully there's a good reason, even if it's non-working. Love the flashcards.

I'm going to try this with the ants that inevitably find their way into my house every spring and stay until the cold weather drives them away. I've tried vinegar and it just isn't doing it. Hopefu...

I've wanted black stained hardwood ever since seeing the Montelongo's home office on Flip This House (?) on HGTV. I agree the maintenance would be a pain, but I think in a smaller area that sees le...

Can't say I second the "astoundingly beautiful."

Buy a steamer! You won't scald your clothes on accident and if you really need a good seam, lay it down on a table and do it that way.

I think the idea is perfectly fine, so long as the image isn't the posed 'everyone in the same color/type clothes' family photo you get at a lot of photography studios.

I love the tape measure rug! I'm agreeing with Lamina, I'm tired of companies throwing the words "recycled" and "green" around when they should just stick to "creative use of materials."

A married friend of mine complained they weren't having sex like they used to and suspected adding a TV to the bedroom was to blame. I'm not saying it's THE reason not to have one but it's an inter...

I've also heard of doing this using wrapping paper, if the arrangement and size of your frames fits.

I'm all for 'whimsical' but I could not live with this in my home.

I'm distracted by the odd chandelier. It's a mirror, if you're diligent about cleaning the kitchen every night than it shouldn't be a problem. The frame does concern me though.

I always wanted a space like #8 where I had overhead storage accessed by a rolling library ladder. I think it has something to do with my love of all things literary.

Martha, clean? Please. She has people for that now.
