Hey guys... I am looking for a modern inexpensive floor lamp - any lamp/lighting store suggestions in NYC besides the obvious chain stores - CB2, West Elm, C&B, DWR?
Can anyone recommend a store in Manhattan to buy a modern floorlamp that is not going to break the bank... not looking to spend thousands on floor lamp - would prefer to be under $500.

Not sure if that's the same couch because there are similar ones out there... But it may have been from White on White furniture... you should find it on their website...
I also live in a co-op and had my kitchen renovated 2 years ago, had a similar vent, and decided to do what your contractors suggested - taller cabinets and then cut a hole for the vent.
