I am confused. How have none of you hear of Marc Jacobs? I thought people that were into art and design would surely know who one of the most popular fashion designers is.....
It's a pretty great museum. I just went in December for the 1st time. The tour about the building itself is great! Very interesting and a great history.
Ice stone is actually sealed and we even use it in commercial aplications. It is buffed and has a finish that feels like granite.
The photo is decieving it looks rough...
Watch the video and you will understand that this is more of an art installation/statement than a 'traditional' house.

I bet that those aren't really logs. I imagine that they are just slices of logs that are attached to make it look like logs are in a niche. I just did somethign like that on a project for a pizza ...
A model of a chair I made, some tall glasses I can't fit anywhere else and some large bowls that don't fit in my cabinets....and probably lots of dust.
Try a trundle bed. I have one in my studio aptartment and it works well. It's a twin daybed with a trundle under it (for sleep over guests). Lots of pillows make it more like a lounge instead of lo...
