I would use the square skillet to cook meat. The beauty is that it can go from stovetop to oven to broiler to grill without batting an eyelash. Not that I would abuse a lovely cut of meat like that.

I am thrilled that you have a pascha recipe! It's been several years since I've made it and am looking forward to rediscovering its goodness. Have never seen a recipe with cherries either. Thanks!
