Aw. I thought the sepia was cheesy-but-cute.
Personally, I strongly disagree with somedudeinvicenza's suggestion that she fake black-and-white instead of sepia. I hate gray-scaled co...
I used to have a ton of weird little crap around my apartment. But I was pretty harsh in a move I made 3 years ago and got rid of all but one box worth. I consider the single shelf-full over one ...
-An electric stove. I tend to cook at too high a heat and need a stove I can cool down right away.
-Lack of light. I looked at an apartment once that was lovely, but had one window, ...
I also kind of hate putting dishes away. I never thought of it as "hate" before, but I always have a hard time stopping myself before starting on new dishes to put the clean ones away.
Huh. I'm a native Californian and it has never occurred to me to worry about framed photos or prints falling off the wall onto my head during an earthquake. Instead, like all good Californians, I...

I feel like there isn't enough room in the seating area. The lounge chair's ottoman and ...
I love the colors & the bedroom wall! But I'm not a fan of the couch or the huge number of throw pillows. It seems like a lot of work. Like you'd have to take the throw pillows off the couch to ...
I live in a 400-ish sf studio in Oakland. I say 400-ish because the main room is 350-ish and there's a more apartment left after that. It feels really big to me. I love living in a studio.
Aw! I love Oakland. I've lived here for ten years. It's my first choice of any city in the Bay Area. It just has a really great vibe. I could babble for weeks about how awesome it is.
I use these bags. I must warn everyone - when they say compostable, they mean right there in your trash can. If you put anything wet in these bags, the bag will start to break down pretty quickly...

I totally have a 'Keep Calm' poster. I didn't realize that they were as popular as they are, although I totally should have!
