Isn't PVC about the most toxic building product there is? I think you could make the pipes out of uranium and have less impact than what is released during PVC production.

Has anyone had experience sourcing those Wegner chairs? Knockoffs are on the web but quality?

We put this in our kitchen and it's easily sweep-able. You put a coat of polyurethane over it after staining and grouting so the grouted areas aren't that much below the tops of the cork slices.

This seems very DIYable. Size plywood, cut neatly, drill keyhole, sand, stain, adhere photo with some kind of liquid adhesive, smooth, set, done.
