Last weekend, these were on sale at the Anthropologie in Boston for $1.79 each! I picked up 8 of them. They do get a bit hot, but I'm still able to use them for hot drinks.

I don't have a rice cooker, but if I bought one, it would be a no frills, old school Tatung rice cooker like the one I grew up with:
